1. Short, Snappy

Keeping your copy concise and to the point is the best way to allow you reader to understand and stay interested in what you're saying.  For example:

“We've created a service that will allow you to work smarter, not harder.” sounds better than “The service created by our company will allow you to work smarter instead of harder”.   

2. Detail is Key

Remember to include all the important information in your copy; your reader needs to know that you're trustworthy.

3. Entice Your Reader

No one will read your copy if your headline isn't powerful enough to get your reader to click-through and read more.

4. Make It Readable

Online readers are likely to find your content on a lunch break or with a spare 5 minutes; if you've managed to get them as far as clicking through to read more, you don't want to lose them by presenting them with a heavy piece of copy and content.  Make it easy to read by including headings and subheading, using bullet points and formatting text with bold, italic, underlining or colour.
